Local Area Entertainment

We realize that not everyone who comes to the Wild Rose is interested in the great fishing offered by Henry's Lake.  Or for that matter as hard to believe as it is, do all fishermen want to spend their entire day up here fishing.  With this in mind, We are working to build a collection of other things to do and see in the local area. 

Please be patent, this page is just getting started and will continue to grow throughout the coming months and years.  I will work to insure that all information continues to be accurate, but realize that this information may not remain current.

Live Theater

There are two local theaters that provide live entertainment.  Mack's Inn Dinner Theater in Island Park, and The Playmill Theatre in West Yellowstone.

Mack's Inn Dinner Theater

Located about 15 minutes from Jared's Wild Rose Ranch Resort, on Highway 20, Mac's Inn offers a Prime Rib dinner with a chose of two plays.  Dinner starts at 6:30, the play starts at 7:15 reservations are highly recommended and often required.  This years plays are

1. The Pirates of Penzance plays on Tue, Thu, & Sat.

2. Trouble Across the Pond plays on Mon, Wed, & Fri

Playmill

Located about 20 minutes from Jared's Wild Rose Ranch Resort in West Yellowstone.  This year the Playmill offers three programs.

1. Forever Plaid

2. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat

3. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Dates and play times very throughout the summer, call them at (406) 646-7757 or visit there website for specific dates and times.  Reservations are recommended and often required.

Movie Theater

There are no movie theaters in Island Park, there is the Imax and Bears Den Cinema in West Yellowstone.

Imax

Located about 20 minutes from the Wild Rose near the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. 

Bears Den Cinema

Located at 16 Electric Street in West Yellowstone, Montana 59758.  Call (406) 646-7777 for movies and show times.  The Bears den is located about 18 minutes form the Wild Rose.

Rodeo

Meadows Vue Ranch

Located on the south shore of Henry's Lake, Meadow Vue Ranch offers Trail Rides and on Wed, Fri, and Sat the offer a combined 1 hour trail ride, with rodeo, stake fry and Dutch Oven Barbecue Dinner, and live entertainment.  They also offer a Youth Summer Program, check their website below fr more details.

Located on Red Rock Road about 5 1/2 miles from Highway 20.  From the Wild Rose Turn left onto Highway 87, for about 1/4 mile.  Turn left on Henry's Lake Road (Staley Springs turnoff).  follow this for about five miles then turn left again onto Red Rock Road.  Meadow Vue Ranch is about two miles down the road just as the pavement starts on the right.
