West Yellowstone, Montana boasts hundreds
of thousands of acres of snowmobile trails and mountain powder riding outside
the community. You can ride right from the resort to trails that
take you to open acres of powder. The trails and mountain powder
riding is North, South and West of the city of West Yellowstone and all
on Gallatin National Forest.
Yellowstone National Park borders the East
side of West Yellowstone, the park entrance is on the East
edge of the city. You can ride on groomed roads only and you
must contact a permitted snowmobile/slowcoach operator to rent a
snowmobile and guide. There are no personal snowmobiles allowed
inside Yellowstone National Park.
